Singer GEORGE MICHAEL has been hospitalized in Vienna, celebrity gossip websites just learned. The British musician was diagnosed with pneumonia during the European leg of his tour.

The 48-year-old musician is reportedly down for the count, and his upcoming performances in Strasbourg, France, and Cardiff, Wales have been postponed. In fact, Michael canceled his concert in Vienna just two hours before it was scheduled to start, and all his subsequent appearances are set to be rescheduled subject to his recovery…

George Michael rose to fame with school pal, Andrew Ridgeley, when they formed the duo Wham! in the 1980′s and released “Careless Whisper,” which sold six million copies worldwide.

Still one of the world’s best-selling music artists, George Michael, now on solo flight, has sold over 100 million records worldwide as of 2010, starting with his first solo debut album, “Faith,” that sold over 25 million copies around the world and made several records and achievements in the U.S.
