Celebrity gossip websites want to know if BRITNEY SPEARS is finally getting engaged, because longtime boyfriend JASON TRAWICK has been doing some serious ring shopping. Is he about to pop the question to Brit-Brit?
Trawick is currently traveling with Britney in South America for her Femme Fatale tour, and while there, he’s been spotted casing several jewelry stores looking for the perfect ring for the love of his life. What’s wrong with jewelry stores in the U.S., might we ask?
“He has been everywhere from Tiffany to Harry Winston looking for a ring and he is close to making his final decision,”
a source reveals.
“Don’t expect anything too massive or obnoxious. This ring will be classy and under 4-carats.”
Uh, but will flashy Britney consent to do classy?
Still, after all these years following her meltdown, maybe Britney Spears has changed for the better…
“Britney and Jason discuss marriage all the time,”
a family friend says.
“Britney is truly in love with Jason, and well, Jason has loved her for a very, very long time.”
Well, let’s hope that’s what it really is, because daddy Jamie Spears still heads his darling daughter’s conservatorship, and he isn’t likely to let go of those reins anytime soon. Not even for a new husband…
