The boyish-looking actor, more popularly known for playing opposite Julia Roberts in “Notting Hill”, and Renee Zellweger in “Bridget Jones’ Diary”, was described as “happy and supportive” about this recent event in his life, unexpected though it was.
“I can confirm that Hugh Grant is the delighted father of a baby girl,”
Grant‘s publicist announced in a statement.
“He and the mother had a fleeting affair and while this was not planned, Hugh could not be happier or more supportive. He and the mother have discussed everything and are on very friendly terms.”
Grant’s baby girl was born early this October, and the actor supposedly learned about this just very recently.
“He’s not with the mum anymore but he’s absolutely thrilled.”
Good for Hugh Grant, an actor who’s gotten a reputation as a rogue, and was once arrested having sex with a prostitute along Sunset Boulevard, to finally discover life isn’t just about him anymore. As he was once quoted a few years ago:
“As much as I adore myself, I’m quite keen to find someone else to care about more.”
