KATE GOSSELIN isn’t a reality star anymore, but according to the latest star news, she still has a bodyguard.
Don’t you think the money you spend on your bodyguard would be better spent on something more practical, Kate?
In the wake of the abrupt cancellation of her reality show “Kate Plus Eight,” Kate admitted that she was afraid of the financial implications her dismissal from TV would entail. The mom of eight, who recently took on a job as a blogger for CouponCabin.com, said:
“The scary reality is, 12-hour nursing shifts every day wouldn’t let me continue to provide well for eight kids, essentially on my own. When you think about it that way, it gets really scary.”
Despite this, celebrity gossip websites have learned that Kate still employs a bodyguard to “protect” her at all times.
Yeesh.
To be perfectly honest, we think that Kate, whose new job involves writing blogs that provide tips and advice on how to save, is not exactly being smart with her money if she still shells out cash for a bodyguard… most reality stars whose shows are still running don’t even have one!
Do you think Kate should drop the bodyguard, or is it only right for her to have one despite the fact that she isn’t on TV anymore?

He’s not a bodyguard, he’s a “bodyguard”. Kind of sad that she has to pay him to stick around.
Her “bodyguard” is actually her married lover now….and the real reason she kicked Jon out…I think in the beginning TLC hired him to help with security for the children…Kate never needed a bodyguard…she just likes to feel like a “star” and compares herself to Angelina Jolie…lol…lol…lol…Now the so called bodyguard lives in her “basement”…uh huh…Don’t think for one minute Kate is going to pay for anything out of HER pocket…He is there free of charge..well money wise anyway..His wife has now listed herself as single on Facebook…You don’t have to be a genius to figure this one out folks…
I agree with Dhomesley. This bitch has been hiding the truth for some time now. She insults everyone’s intelligence,, she thinks she’s slick. Come on look at the last show,, when they went on that Grand Canyon trip form hell!! She got pissed at him like a jealous wife when he didnt side with her, she yelled at him and told him to come in the trailer cus she didnt want to discuss it in front of the cameras, what kind of reality show is that when you dont want to discuss the real deal in front of the cameras. The sad thing is that she made Jon look like a womanizing pig in front of the world, to gain our sympathy for her…..when in actuality she was the pig,,the only difference is that she played it smart and kept it on the DL. Jon was out there with his shit, thats the only mistake he made, he should have been a little more careful, cus I personally dont blame him for wanting another woman,, Kate looks like a lousy Lay anyway.
She promoted him to her “personal” massager, cough, sorry I meant manager when the show was closed.
This man isn’t still around for free—so who knows…he will get paid one way or another.
