Celebrity gossip websites have learned that KIM KARDASHIAN spent Thanksgiving serving meals to the homeless at the Los Angeles Mission. Now the question is, was this a publicity stunt, or did she genuinely want to do it out of the goodness of her heart?
Kim has been keeping a low profile ever since she filed for divorce from Kris Humphries (thanks to the overwhelming bad press her decision attracted) but it seems that she’s decided to slowly ease her way back into the public eye—by doing good deeds, of course.
On Wednesday, Kim joined longtime volunteers Kirk Douglas, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Zoe Saldana, and various other celebrities at the Los Angeles Mission to feed the homeless. She donned a red apron and everything! A rep tells Us Weekly:
“[Kim] was very cordial and friendly… [she] worked hard in both the food preparation area and in serving the food to the guests.”
The reality star later tweeted:
“Just left the LA Mission. Met so many kind hearted people! They’re (sic) goal is to feed 120,000 people by the end of the yr! We fed so many today”
She added:
“Everyone of us can do something small that will make a huge difference to someone else”
