In recent celebrity news, LADY GAGA commended one of her fans for his anti-bullying endeavors through a heartfelt, personal video message, which she sent to the lucky Little Monster and his school.
Lady Gaga, who is one of the most outspoken anti-bullying advocates amongst today’s celebrities, received some fan mail from a teenager named Jacques St. Pierre, who told her about his school’s (The Etobicoke School of the Arts) anti-bullying campaign. She responded by making a video message, in which she not only speaks out against bullying, but also praises St. Pierre for his efforts in working to expunge the hateful act.
In the video, Gaga says:
“I just wanted to tell you how proud I am of you for being such a strong advocate of the LGBT community in your school,” she says looking into the camera. “There should be more little monsters like you.”
She adds:
“My father always saves all the fan letters that I receive and I read yours very recently and wanted to send this video to you on behalf of not only my team, The House of Gaga, but Little Monsters all over the world.”
The Mother Monster then talked about the tragic suicide of bullied teen Jamey Rodemeyer, and said:
“It is important that we push the boundaries of love and acceptance. It is important that we spread tolerance and equality for all students.”
