Mariah Yeater‘s paternity suit against JUSTIN BIEBER is still on despite reports from entertainment news she’d scrapped it completely. Apparently, the whole thing is going to be settled out-of-court in the light of death threats against Yeater and her four-month-old baby, Tristyn.
Private negotiations between Justin Bieber‘s lawyers and the new legal team Yeater hired are currently ongoing. In fact, Bieber‘s alleged baby mama has hired a new high-powered attorney, L.A.’s John Carson to join the group headed by Chicago-based paternity lawyer, Jeffrey Leving…
“I did not step down and there is a legal team,”
Leving confirmed.
“It’s a new legal team. In light of death threats against my client, strategies have been reviewed… the San Diego team has been replaced.”
It seems the old legal team had a lot of publicity going that put Yeater and her baby in danger.
“The case is completely out of control and I don’t want something terrible to happen to my client or her child,”
Leving continued.
Well, we’re sure Beliebers and even Selena Gomez fans are highly likely to present a united font against the threat that is Yeater.
“Negotiations are going on right now with Bieber’s council and we’re trying to negotiate a private, secure DNA test with the same safeguards that would exist if there were a court order, but without a court order,”
Leving explained.
“My goal is that when the DNA test is completed, which I believe it will be… my goal is to keep everything confidential so the results will remain confidential.”
But will it really be confidential? With Justin Bieber’s life, nothing is.
Leving also discredited reports that Justin and his legal team were planning to file a counter suit.
“I see that as not being positive publicity for Bieber,”
Leving predicted.
“Plus she’s indigent, she’s an out of work single mother trying to survive. He wouldn’t make any money, and it would appear to be a means of seeking revenge.”
Ouch.
But wouldn’t it be a “double ouch” if Yeater could present damning evidence, like accurately describing Justin‘s private body parts, or testifying to the existence of distinguishing features such as birth marks, scars or moles that are normally hidden by his clothes, and that only his own mother and Selena Gomez have seen?
