A movement has been launched to throw the KARDASHIANS off television, Hollywood rumors just learned. And it looks like the movement is quickly gaining steam, taking it right to the level of Change.org and Occupy Wall Street.

The effort was organized to put an end to the family’s reality show, “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” and it even has an online petition available for people who want to vote the Kardashians off the air…

To date, the petition contains 17,500 signatures at a GoPetition form titled “No More Kardashian” that was started by the movement’s organizer, Cyndi Snyder in November 2.

“In a grass roots effort, we have collected [thousands of] signatures for a petition asking E! Entertainment to remove the Kardashian suite of shows from their programming,”

Snyder released in a statement.

“We feel that these shows are mostly staged and place an emphasis on vanity, greed, promiscuity, vulgarity and over-the-top conspicuous consumption.”

The petition is supported by a website, a Facebook page, and a Twitter account calling all Kardashian haters to come forward and sign the petition to oust the Kardashian-Jenner Klan from television screens, clothes, and perfume and nail polish bottles everywhere.

“While some may have begun watching the spectacle as mindless entertainment or as a sort of ‘reality satire,’ it is a sad truth that many young people are looking up to this family and are modeling their appearance and behavior after them,”

Snyder said.

“I’ll remind you here that the Kardashian family fame largely started with a ‘leaked’ sex tape.”

But “No More Kardashian” isn’t the only movement against the Kardashian Klan and it’s most infamous member, Kim Kardashian. Another movement of Tyler Perry fans has sprung up to push for removing Kim from Perry‘s upcoming film, “The Marriage Counselor,” to the point of threatening to boycott the movie if the reality star remains on the cast.

“I really am disappointed in your decision to keep Kim K. in your movie. She is a disgrace to herself and her family. She is a role model and she has disappointed her fans. Let her go. I guarantee she will bring your ratings down. Dump her.”

Tyler Perry fan, Marcell Troupe wrote on Perry‘s website.

So how fast will this “No More Kardashian” movement steamroll over the very family it’s vowed to crush? Will it get to accomplish it’s goals before the end of the year?

“There is no particular religious or political platform behind our disgust; we are just finally fed up.”

Snyder declared.

If it were you, would you sign the petition and join the movement?
