SNOOKI wishes “Jersey Shore” would show less drinking and partying because she asserts that’s not all they do at all. Of course there’s spending time on the tanning beds, getting into fights, and hooking up with one another…but then again, what will “Jersey Shore” be without Snooki‘s drunken antics? That dance with the potted plant was plain priceless!
But hark! Nicole Polizzi‘s trying to evolve into a more sober ewok now. She’s got two books on the market and she’s set her eyes on marriage to fellow midget boyfriend, Jionni LaValle…so we guess she’s entitled to let everybody know she’s finally regaining her sensibilities and growing up. Uh, we didn’t mean that last one literally, of course…
“I wouldn’t show as much drinking and partying. I would show more of us chilling out and having a good time — which they don’t show. We don’t even drink those nights, but we laugh all night. They don’t show anything but us drinking and hooking up.”
Snooki claims, complaining about the boozer image “Jersey Shore” has caused to be tacked on all of the guidos and guidettes. It’s not like they’re a bunch of drunks or anything, you know.
“Maybe because of the success of the show, they think that if they don’t show us drinking and hooking up then it wouldn’t stay successful. But I think that if they showed the sober side of us people would like it even more, and it’d even change people’s minds about us,”
she insists.
Snooki isn’t trying to hint that she’s leaving the show, is she? This is her bread and butter after all, notorious drunk that it’s painted her to be.
