Fans of TYLER PERRY are up in arms and want him to fire KIM KARDASHIAN or they’ll boycott his new film, “The Marriage Counselor,” where Kim has been cast for a minor role. Kim Kardashian? In a film about marriage counseling?
Okay, you can stop laughing now. Only apparently, Tyler Perry‘s fans aren’t. They’re dead serious…
According to celebrity news, there have been a flood of angry posts and criticisms on Perry‘s website from fans who are now protesting his choice of Kim Kardashian to play one of the characters in his new movie. Their ire is such that they have collectively threatened to boycott the “The Marriage Counselor” if Perry insists on having Kim Kardashian in it.
As per fan hate mail, Kim‘s been dubbed the “antithesis” of Perry‘s Christian and respectable image, particularly because she “refuses to value the sanctity of marriage” and she continues to “exploit black males.”
Incidentally, Tyler Perry is both male and black. Did his giving Kim the role for her 31st birthday last month be considered an exploitation of his person?
Still, Perry seems to be a man of his word since he’s holding his ground no matter what his fans are saying.
“She is scheduled to work as planned.”
The famed director of “Diary Of A Mad Black Woman” said.
Will this move be the “kiss of death” for Tyler Perry? We’ll soon find out, won’t we?
