Hollywood news has learned that ADAM LAMBERT was arrested today for fighting with his boyfriend in public. It’s a bit extreme for a small lover’s quarrel, isn’t it? But the fight was actually no ordinary spat—they were actually scuffling… like a couple of drunken bar brawlers.
So we all know Adam can be a bit of a hothead sometimes, especially when it comes to photographers taking unflattering photos of him, but who knew he’d be brawling in public with his sweetheart Sauli Koskinen, whom he’s been dating for over a year now?
The “American Idol” runner-up and the Finnish reality star reportedly got into a tussle outside a gay bar in Helsinki called DTM (which stands for Don’t Tell Mama). After the authorities were called, the two were arrested and thrown behind bars.
The Hollywood Reporter reveals:
“According to media reports out of Finland, the dispute between the two men started in one of DTM’s back rooms. Lambert and Koskinen… were apparently kicked out of the club but carried on fighting in the street outside.”
The site adds:
“Finnish beauty queen Sofia Ruusila, an ex-Miss Helsinki, who had been celebrating with Lambert and Koskinen, told a Finnish entertainment channel that she had tried to get between the quarrelling couple when Lambert accidently hit her by mistake.”
Thankfully, Adam and Sauli, who were both released from the Finnish jail this afternoon, seem to have put the fight behind them, as Koskinen recently wrote on his blog about the incident. He wrote in Finnish (but translated by Google):
“Celebrities are people too and fame is not easy. Love is not always easy either, but it’s forever… [The] hangover is gone already.”
Lambert also tweeted:
Jetlag+Vodka=blackout. Us÷blackout=irrational confusion. jail+guilt+press=lesson learned.Sauli+Adam+hangover burgers= laughing bout it. :)
So Adam says they learned a lesson from this experience… all’s well that ends well?
