BRADLEY COOPER feels so bad about People Magazine crowning him the “Sexiest Man Alive,” he thinks it’s just plain awful!
Does he really mean that, or has he been receiving death threats from Ryan Gosling‘s fans?
Granted, “The Hangover” hunk isn’t really known for being exceedingly vain about his looks and boasting about them…so entertainment news is ready to give him the benefit of the doubt when he says Ryan Gosling deserves that title more than he does…
The 36-year-old actor was on the “Graham Norton Show” the other day and he admitted feeling terrible about having been conferred the title of “People’s Sexiest Man Alive” for 2011:
“It’s the worst. Oh, it’s just so awful.”
Bradley laments.
“I’m finally at an age – I’m 36 years old – where I really don’t care about anything like that anymore, which is wonderful thing, and then it happened. And then I started to realize just how not sexy I am.”
Is this truly self-effacing humility, or is Bradley Cooper trying to appease Ryan Gosling fans who were reportedly up-in-arms over People passing over their Canadian pretty boy?
“I have a lot of moments where I’m walking out and I’ll open up the door and think to myself, ‘I could do that a lot sexier’.”
Bradley continues.
“He [Ryan Gosling] literally looks like he’s in a photo shoot, like he just came off the runway. I literally look like the neighbour who never comes really out of his house.”
We don’t know how 31-year-old Ryan Gosling‘s taking this, but he’s relatively young, isn’t he? He’s got a lot of years in him yet to take over that crown. After all, George Clooney was named the sexiest man at the age of 36 and 46, and Brad Pitt at age 32 and 37.
Who’s to say Ryan won’t quadruple that feat in the near future?
Unless People votes for a reluctant Bradley Cooper again next time around…
