In recent Hollywood celebrity gossip, BRITNEY SPEARS’ first husband reportedly slammed her engagement to JASON TRAWICK—he says he thinks it’s “fake.”
Bitter much?
Unlike Kevin Federline, who recently announced that he was “really happy” for Britney, Jason Alexander, her first husband and childhood friend, has admitted that he openly disapproves of the engagement. When Us Weekly asked him what he thought of Brit’s decision to marry boyfriend Jason Trawick, Alexander said:
“I know everyone wants me to be happy about this, but I am not… I think it’s fake and I think people are afraid to say it.”
Uh, fake? This from a guy who was married to Britney for only 55 hours after saying “I do” on a whim at a chapel in Vegas!
He added:
“If you look at all the pictures between them there is no connection,” he added. “They look like they are going through the motions. It seems like a (sic) answer to the court thing (referring to Britney’s conservatorship).”
Jason continued:
“Sort of a nice way to sew it all up she marries her handler. That way she always has someone controlling her. It’s sort of sad.”
We think it’s poor form to express such negative thoughts about something that brings someone else such happiness… Britney’s obviously very happy about her engagement, and she seems to be extremely happy with Jason, who has been there for her and has helped get her through her darker days.
Shame on you, Jason.
