Australian pop star CODY SIMPSON has finally opened up about his relationship with the Kardashian Klan’s KYLIE JENNER… and he says she’s a “good friend” of his.
Just a “good friend,” Cody?
Cody and Kylie were first reported to be “dating” after the two were spotted out together at The Grove in Los Angeles, on what celebrity gossip websites perceived to be their “first date.” The two stepped out again together at a Popstar! Magazine event at Italian restaurant Buca di Beppo, where the rumored couple walked the red carpet together.
So what’s really going on between Cody and Kylie? In an interview with HollywoodLife.com, the singer admitted:
“Kylie is just a good friend of mine… We met recently and we’ve hung out a few times since then. She’s a good friend of my sister’s, too.”
He added:
“We’ve been seen in public a few times, and people love to assume that we’re dating and we’re in a relationship. But I live a busy life, and it’d be hard to give a girl the time. I got a while to go.”
So if he and Kylie aren’t dating, does that mean a double date with golden teen couple Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez is out of the question? Cody replied:
“I don’t want to say no to that… We’ll see.”
Well, at least he’s open to it.
