Celebrity gossip websites have learned that COLIN FARRELL spent Christmas Day playing Santa Claus to sick kids at a Dublin hospital. And he didn’t even alert the media and turn it into a photo-op!
Fatherhood must have really changed former bad boy Colin Farrell, as he reportedly spent Christmas at the Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital in Crumlin, Dublin, arriving unannounced with 100 gifts in tow for all the kids… as if he was Santa Claus or something.
And the amazing thing is, his own rep didn’t even know about it!
So how did we find out about it? Well, we probably wouldn’t have because Colin kept it quiet. But some relatives of the children at the hospital tweeted about the actor’s good deed. One tweeted:
“Just chatting with #ColinFarrell who is in with presents for the kids here in #Crumlin. No tv/media, a gentleman and genuine.”
Another one said:
“Just met Colin Farrell he came to meet the kids in crumlin hospital really nice man. fair play to him putting a smile on the childrens faces.”
The Twitter user added:
“fair play him giving up his Christmas day to cheers up others!!!! Merry Christmas from st johns ward!!!!”
A third one said:
“colin farrell is a real genuine guy alright. All the presents he brought! Happy Xmas from St Brigids ward!”
