Yep… DANIEL CRAIG thinks “politicians are sh*theads.” Honestly, you really got to hand it to this guy—he calls it like he sees it.
Daniel is apparently brutally honest—as evidenced by a recent interview with British GQ, where James Bond himself called the Kardashians a bunch of “f*cking idiots.” The guy speaks his mind, and he makes no apologies for it.
In another interview, this time with Men’s Journal, the British actor says:
“Politicians are sh*theads… That’s how they become politicians, even good ones. We’re actors, we’re artists, we’re very nice to each other. They’ll turn around and stab you in the f*cking back.”
But he doesn’t just end it with that. He then proceeded to rip into former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, whom he cites as a prime example for his rant. Daniel explains:
“Tony Blair started it much more than anybody’s ever done. ‘Go and have tea at 10 Downing Street. It becomes ‘Mephisto’ [a novel by Klaus Mann about an actor who ingratiated himself with the Nazis to obtain the role of Mephisto in Faust Part One]… You immediately are aligning yourself with a political party.”
