KRIS HUMPHRIES just scored a one-year $8 million deal with the New Jersey Nets, proving that even the underdog has his day.
Showing everyone that the best revenge is to live well, Kris Humphries has been doing his damnedest to get on with his life after the deluge of bad press and legal entanglements that followed his soon-to-be-ex-wife’s divorce announcement. He may have turned tail and run to lick his wounds in his hometown in Minnesota, but while he kept his head down, he also kept his mind on the game…
And the game, according to the philosophy of Kris Humphries, was to move on with his career and leave the bad taste of Kim and the Kardashian Klan behind. And so he did!
While his estranged wife and her family continues to be swamped by negative publicity involving a supposedly sham charity trip to Haiti, and hiring sweat shop labor in China to manufacture their Kardashian Kollection products, Kris has moved on to better things: from landing an endorsement deal with Sector watches, to renewing his contract with the Nets as a power forward.
His 72-day mess of a marriage unfortunately overshadowed his basketball career during the NBA standoff, but now that both have ended, Kris is taking every opportunity to shine in the court and move on with his life after shaking the dust that is the Kardashians off his heels.
Way to go, Kris!
