LINDSAY LOHAN actually turned down a big fat paycheck to come and host parties ushering in the New Year, celebrity gossip websites just learned.
Either there’s still a whole lot left of that $1 million fee from her Playboy shoot, or Lindsay just wants to stay in Judge Stephanie Sautner’s good graces by keeping away from the temptation of alcohol that’s sure to flood every one of these New Year’s Eve bashes she’s been invited to host…
It looks like Lindsay‘s doing some serious damage control to an image that’s been drowned in drink and drugs over the last few years. And also because it appears that Judge Sautner’s praise during LiLo‘s last court attendance snowballed into a series of auspicious events that included an untitled screenplay to a movie offer, and a contract to be the face of Jag Jeans.
Is Lindsay jinxing all this good luck just to make big money ringing in the New Year? No way.
It’s a peaceful night at home with a few friends for LiLo. And maybe some quiet dinner out before heading to bed early.
After all, 2012 is another day…
