An NYU professor is claiming he got fired after giving JAMES FRANCO a “D”. Really? We didn’t know James Franco was that powerful.

According to Professor José Angel Santana, Franco,  who was in the process of completing his Master’s in Fine Arts, only attended two out of his 14 “Directing the Actor II” classes, apparently believing his work in three successive “Spider Man” films covered the subject sufficiently…

After gifting the actor with a “D,” Santana suddenly found himself without a job after New York University fired his ass. He’s suing for wrongful termination, of course.

“The school has bent over backwards to create a Franco-friendly environment, that’s for sure,”

Santana griped to the New York Post.

Santana further alleged that James Franco blew off all his other classes, as well, but his professors gave him good grades anyway due to his celebrity status as an actor.

And also because big names like Franco mean big bucks for NYU, which stands to gain more enrollees because of celebrity students like him.

“In my opinion, they’ve turned the NYU graduate film degree into swag for James Franco’s purposes, a possession, something you can buy,”

a disgruntled Santana continued.

What makes him even more disgruntled is the fact that James himself now teaches at NYU, handling a fall semester course for third-year graduate students on modifying poetry into short films. While completing his PhD in English at Yale University.

Sorry, Professor Santana. Apparently you aren’t enough of a team player for NYU to keep on. Are you actually going to take on James Franco? The guy who’s got the clout to flaunt his naked behind on magazine spreads, and who’s been able to sell non-existing artwork for tens of thousands of dollars?
