It’s official… BRITNEY SPEARS and JASON TRAWICK are engaged! Congratulations, Brit-Brit!
It’s true. Britney and Jason are finally, truly engaged… after months of speculation and false engagement rumors.
Although initial reports said that Britney had turned down Jason’s proposal, confirmed Hollywood news reports have surfaced to claim otherwise.
Jason himself told Access Hollywood:
“Yes, we are engaged… [I’m] over the moon, as [is] she.”
Brit’s former manager and now hubby-to-be reportedly popped the question in a very traditional way—he knelt in front of her and everything—while in the presence of Britney’s two adorable kids, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

A source confides to Us Weekly:
“This is something they’ve both wanted for a long time… It’s a way to cement their family. They’re both extremely happy and can’t wait to become man and wife.”
Prior to the confirmation, Britney hinted at the news on her Twitter. She said:
“OMG. Last night Jason surprised me with the one gift I’ve been waiting for. Can’t wait to show you!” she wrote. “SO SO SO excited!!!! Xxo”
The couple will be celebrating their engagement at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, where Britney will be revealing her engagement ring.
We can’t wait to see it!
