RIHANNA made celebrity news headlines when she ran off stage and vomited in the middle of a performance during her concert last weekend in Portugal. But, before your toes curl in disgust with the image of a green-tinged Rihanna running off the stage while spewing her lunch, let us tell you that she (thankfully) made it to the bathroom.
RiRi, who was reportedly put on health watch after being hospitalized for flu symptoms, was performing “What’s My Name” when the incident occurred.
Though the Barbadian singer looked in perfect health as she flounced around half-naked with her backup dancers, she ended up leaving to stage to hurl… and, right before disappearing from the stage and letting her backup dancers take front and center, Rihanna made a gesture of puking, which can be seen in the video below.
When a fan asked her if she had any “cool memories” from her concert in Portugal, Rihanna tweeted back:
“i ran off stage to throw up, halfway thru Whats My Name…made it back juuuust in time for RudeBoy!”
