RUSSELL BRAND dismisses divorce rumors by saying that he’s “happily married” to his gorgeous wife KATY PERRY.
Take that, naysayers!
Russell and Katy have only been married about a year, and yet the divorce rumors just won’t stop cropping up. Thankfully, during his appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” the British comedian finally set the record straight. When Ellen asked him about the breakup rumors surrounding his marriage, Russell quipped:
“What?!? She [Katy] should have told me!”
He then added:
“There are always rumors … in the end you have to just not engage with Internet technology, which is difficult because of a lot of the nude women websites I quite enjoy!”
Despite being an avid fan of Twitter, Mr. Katy Perry admits that he doesn’t wholly trust the Internet. He admitted:
“The whole Internet now like it’s a wicked little liar … being famous is like a little bit of you is taken away, and goes off, and lives on its own and does what it wants. … I wish it would do more interesting things.
Russell then said:
“I am really happily married… Perpetually, until death do us part, was the pledge.”
Good to know! We’re rooting for you, Russell and Katy!
