A thinner, more haggard ADELE debuted her post-throat surgery self on Twitter, her first ever social media appearance since she canceled all her shows for the last quarter of the year due to surgery to remove a granuloma from the top of her vocal chords.
With deep, dark circles under her eyes and hollows where her usually full cheeks used to be, the English singer looked way older than her 23 years. Celebrity news is guessing Adele doesn’t like hospitals very much…it’s either that or her doctors have prohibited her from smoking until the swelling in her singing valves goes down…
For a chain-smoking gal, that would be really hard on the nerves.
“Back on the grind. Hair and make up did. Merry Christmas! Axx”
The multi-Grammy award winning chanteuse tweeted.
Hmmm…not even a couple of hours at the salon or the beehive seems to be helping. Maybe she ought to just give it a rest until 2012?
