Tom Cruise and David Beckham have been pals for years, and in fact, Hollywood rumors has heard Tom‘s been questing for the perfect script for Beckham and himself to co-star in a movie together now that he perceives the English football celebrity’s sports career to be slowing down…
“I’d love to do action movies with Beckham. He would be great, he could kick ass,”
Tom Cruise told the London Mirror.
What are you betting David would kick Tom‘s ass first and “bend him like Beckham” before he consents to do a Hollywood movie?
After all, the midfielder hardly needs the money, having a personal net worth of $175 million. Unless of course, he contemplates segueing to a Hollywood career to keep himself in the limelight. But would he?
Still, Tom Cruise says his offer’s still open, but on one condition:
“David would have to teach me to play soccer first,”
Cruise said.
