Hollywood rumors just heard that AVRIL LAVIGNE and BRODY JENNER have allegedly split after nearly two years together and a surprise engagement during the holidays.
The pop punk princess and the Kardashian stepbrother reportedly parted ways after going through a rocky relationship in the latter half of last year. Did Brody maybe get tired of the “Sk8tr Boi” singer’s penchant for getting into fights in bars, and wants to avoid getting his beautiful mug beaten by bottle?
“Brody and Avril aren’t engaged any longer,”
a family friend revealed to Star Magazine.
“Things weren’t working out between the two of them. They decided to go their separate ways.”
And all this after they both got matching tattoos: a lighting bolt on her wrist and and under his ear, and the word “f*ck (her favorite word) on their rib cages. Avril even had the name Brody inked beneath her right breast.
“[They] go through incredible highs and lows in their relationship and recently things have taken a nosedive,”
the source continued.
“They are just taking things day by day before making any life changing decision.”
It was the bar fight, wasn’t it? Wasn’t it?
Apparently not. They just got cold tootsies about the whole thing.
“They got cold feet,”
the source said.
“I don’t think this is the end. It sounds like they are just taking a break for now. I’m sure they’ll work it out and get back together.”
