MediaTakeOut.com originally posted the revealing photos yesterday without identifying the musician, and with instructions for viewers “to find out which tatted rocker this is.” But as Travis‘ distinct ink is so recognizable, it didn’t take long to give him away — and for the pictures to start circulating online.
According to TMZ, a source said the photos were
“private and never intended for public viewing or to be seen by anyone else.”
Were they to record memories of happier times with ex-wife Shanna Moakler, maybe?
Travis, who retains Evan Speigel, a partner at Los Angeles entertainment law specialists Lavely & Singer, has directed that a cease and desist letter be sent to MediaTakeOut.com for “unauthorized use of private photos.”
Hmmm…after surviving that plane crash in 2008, having his “drumstick” circulating the Internet shouldn’t be a biggie…
