ROONEY MARA attended the Germany premiere of “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” in an edgy black Michael Kors gown.
Yay or nay?
Honestly, we wish Rooney would start wearing more color, because despite the fact that she has a knack for always choosing a gorgeous, buzz worthy outfit for the red carpet, it seems she only has two looks: edgy black dresses and elegant white gowns. Her outfits always get raves, but pretty soon everyone’s going to get bored with the whole black and white thing… like we are.
Nonetheless, Rooney looked great in a black Michael Kors gown, which can probably be considered a “mullet dress” due to the fact that it’s hemline was short in front and long in the back. A leather yoke and a small cutout just above the chest area added some interesting detail to the otherwise bland dress.
Rooney completed the look with black Nicholas Kirkwood peep-toe pumps and a simple black headband, which she wore over blunt bangs and a sleek updo.
As for makeup, the actress kept it simple by sticking to neutral colors.
Who else wishes Rooney would give the other colors on the color wheel a chance next time?
