HEIDI KLUM and SEAL are separating, according to the latest celebrity news. The couple themselves announced their intent to separate after almost seven years of what seemed to be one of Hollywood’s strongest marriages.
A few days ago, reports surfaced that Heidi and Seal, who have been married for almost seven years and have been renewing their vows every year since their wedding, were getting a divorce. Although there is a ring of truth to the rumor, the couple announced today that they are actually separating… with no mention of divorce papers. The couple released an exclusive statement to PEOPLE announcing their decision to split:
“While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate.
We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition.
We thank our family, friends, and fans for their kind words of support. And for our children’s sake, we appreciate you respecting our privacy.”
Heidi and Seal tied the knot on May 10, 2005 on a beach in Mexico, and they have famously been renewing their vows every year on their anniversary ever since.
This is so sad. We hope they get back together.
