According to the latest Hollywood gossip, MARIO LOPEZ has popped the question to his girlfriend and baby mama, COURTNEY MAZZA.
It seems to be a growing Hollywood trend, actually. A lot of celebrities who were perfectly happy being in long-term relationships with their partners have suddenly decided to get engaged over the holidays…
There’s Matthew McConaughey, who got engaged to longtime girlfriend Camila Alves on Christmas. And then there’s Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, who finally put a ring on it during his holiday vacation with girlfriend Erin Brady. And now we have “Extra” host, actor, and hunky underwear model Mario Lopez, who reportedly popped the question to Courtney in the middle of the New Year celebrations.
Mario recounts the romantic moment to Us Weekly:
“We took a walk alone as the sun was setting… I told Courtney that I wanted the mother of my children to have their last name. She was silent at first from shock, then she leaped for joy and did a little jete!”
Meanwhile, Mario’s new fiancée gushes:
“Besides our daughter’s birth, this was the best moment of my life!”
Mario and Courtney, who have been together for almost four years, will tie the knot in Mexico later this year.
