SALMA HAYEK is a knight now. Yes, really.
And while she isn’t exactly dressed in shiny armour to cover her generous assets, she’s been made a member of the legion herself.
The bountifully-appointed “Puss In Boots” actress was knighted into the French Legion of Honor over the weekend, together with her father-in-law, Francois Pinault, who was made a Grand Office of the Legion of Honor, the country’s highest civilian decoration…
It isn’t hard to imagine the fiercely independent 45-year-old Mexican actress as a knight, albeit a very short and shapely one:
“I work hard, I make my own living and I love it. I like having financial independence,”
Hayek told Redbook Magazine.
“I don’t ever want to have to depend on anyone completely.”
Not even on her gazillionaire businessman husband of three years, Francois-Henri Pinault, with whom she raises a four-year-old daughter, Valentina.
So watch out, Pinault. If you father any more children with any more former supermodels, you might just find yourself run through with a lance…
