KATY PERRY turned heads with an oversized flower hat at the 2012 MusiCares Person of the Year Gala at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Katy may have just given the very stylish Kate Middleton—2011’s “Hat Person of the Year”—a run for her money thanks to her traffic-stopping headgear at Friday’s MusiCares Person of the Year event, which honored Paul McCartney.
The “Last Friday Night” singer wore a blush pink Alexis Mabille lace and satin crêpe gown, which she paired with an oversized flower hat (also by Alexis Mabille), Christian Loubotin heels, and a Judith Lieber clutch.
While we applaud Katy for her bold choice—and for wearing the outfit with grace—we think the shocking blue hair kind of ruined it…
