JUSTIN BIEBER just granted a six-year-old cancer patient’s Valentine’s wish, spending the whole day with her and her family, and even going through a pretend marriage with his young fan.
Avalanna Routh, 6, is battling a very rare form of brain cancer known as ATRT. This year, her Valentine’s Day wish was to have a date with pop singing sensation, Justin Bieber. And the Bieb, being the Bieb, was kind enough to grant Avalanna her heart’s desire. As a highlight to her day, the two new-found friends did a mock wedding ceremony. So now Avalanna‘s family and friends are calling her “Mrs. Bieber” to her great delight…
Now we understand why Justin skipped the 54th Grammy Awards on Sunday to have a pre-Valentine’s Day date with girlfriend, Selena Gomez. He’d earmarked the day of hearts for this special and brave little girl who only wanted to spend some time with her favorite pop star.
“BEST PART OF MY DAY”
Justin tweeted together with a photo of him hugging Avalannah.
“that was one of the best things i have ever done. she was AWESOME! Feeling really inspired now! #MrsBieber“
This isn’t the first time Justin Bieber has acted out of the goodness of his heart. Last month, he started a Twitter brigade urging his followers (all 17.4 million of them) to support organ and blood donation in Canada after a fan pleaded with him to help spread the word. As a result of the Bieb‘s social media efforts, the Ontario-based Trillium Gift of Life Network saw donations rise to 1,200 people, more than four times the amount the network usually receives.
Now Justin Bieber just made a young fan’s Valentine’s Day, which gives us more insight about the kind of person he is other than a teen who loves showing off his skateboarding skills in public, or flexing his chest muscles to show everyone just how much he works out.
If only other celebrities who had as much influence would spread the love…
