KHLOE KARDASHIAN finally explains why she can’t stand her soon-to-be-ex-brother-in-law, KRIS HUMPHRIES, whom she was always at odds with back when he was still with her sister, KIM KARDASHIAN.
And the root of Khloe’s dislike? The fact that Kris, upon meeting her, broke the ice by questioning the authenticity of her marriage to NBA star Lamar Odom… and we all know that Khloe’s the kind of loyal wife who won’t take that lying down.
During her recent appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” Khloe told the story of how she and Kris first met (and how it all went downhill from there):
“When I met Kris the very first time, I had just landed in New York and it was late at night … and he was in Kourtney and Kim‘s suite… And I went in there to say, ‘Hi’ because Kim was like, ‘Oh, I wanna introduce you to my friend.’”
Khloe continued:
“They’d just started dating. And you know, one of the first things that came out of his mouth—like within the first five minutes—was, ‘So, how much you getting paid to fake your marriage? Like how long are you gonna keep this up for?’ And I was like, ‘Dude, I don’t know if you’re trying to make me laugh.’ But it just rubbed me the wrong way.”
She added:
“So, ever since then, I had a very defensive wall brought up.”
Hmm. Looks like Khloe took Kris‘ joke about her marriage a little too hard…
