According to the latest celebrity news, LINDSAY LOHAN claims she’s a “homebody” now during an interview with Matt Lauer on “Today” last Tuesday.
Now why is that hard to believe?
The notorious “Mean Girls” star, who is still on probation for her alleged substance abuse and other publicly-known self-destructive behavior, admits in an interview with Matt Lauer that she finally got her long-overdue “wake up call”—aka court dates, trips to jail, rehab, community service and a career dead end—and that her partying days and erratic diva behaviors may very well be over.
With a fresher outlook on life and offers for a film, a hosting gig and an Elizabeth Taylor biopic just waiting for her around the corner, Lindsay plans to show just how eager she is about turning her life around.
She shares on the show:
“I went out, actually, a few months ago with a friend. And I was so uncomfortable. Not because I felt tempted, just because it was just the same thing that it always was before. It just wasn’t fun for me. I’ve become more of a homebody. And I like that.”
Well, even so, the world’s obviously going to need a lot of convincing before they can even think of trusting her again!
She adds:
“I still need to go through the process of proving myself. I could see where it could be scary for people to invest in me. I don’t want people to have that reason to be scared anymore.”
Finally, she tells Lauer:
“I will not let anyone down, especially myself.”
