NICKI MINAJ looked surprisingly sedate in a $28 Mondrian-inspired bandage dress from discount retailer Forever 21 when she sat for an interview at “Good Morning America” with fellow musician, RICKY MARTIN.
True, the dress was in a multi-hued candy-colored mesh fabric, but it was a huge departure from the rapper’s usual retina-searing eyesores.
Plus, it happened to be incredibly cute and amazingly affordable. Nicki joined Ricky Martin to talk about their shoring up ranks to raise awareness of AIDS, as well as going through another round of explanations about her bizarre performance at the 54th Grammy awards…
We like the way Nicki‘s Barbie-blonde hair was fluffed out into soft and bouncy synthetic waves, and the way the stack of her candy-colored gem-encrusted bangles, and camel-colored peep-toe ankle boots made the perfect accessories for her mod colorblock sleeveless mini-dress.
Isn’t it great to know that a woman who can swathe herself in yards of blood-red fabric, or strut the red carpet in some pastel, metallic, and pink lace monstrosity, could flaunt her generous curves in a bright and fun dress that costs approximately the same amount you’d pay for an oil change?
