SNOOKI and JWOWW‘s “Jersey Shore” spinoff finally found a home after their request to film in Hoboken, New Jersey was soundly denied by the powers-that-be.
MTV and 495 Productions likely breathed a sigh of relief when Jersey City mayor, Jerramiah Healy, gave his okay for shooting the spinoff in his jurisdiction. It seems Mayor Healy‘s more inclined towards welcoming skankily dressed guidettes into his city as a source of amusement for the locals…
“My view is the more people that see anything about Jersey City and see what we have in Jersey, the better it is for Jersey City,”
Mayor Healy told the local Fox 5 news.
Which is more than we can say for Mayor Dawn Zimmer and the Town Council of Hoboken, who not only turned down MTV’s request, but also threatened to “deal immediately and aggresively” with any attempts at filming in their beloved city without a permit.
Looks like Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jennifer “JWoww” Farley may have to start making nice…and we mean, really nice…to Mayor Jerramiah Healy for allowing their post “Jersey Shore” careers to flourish.
Jersey City…drunken bar brawls, here we come!

I like Snooki, I know a lot of people find her annoying but she entertains me on Jersey Shore. It was just a matter of time before she got a spin-off. Throw in JWoww into the mix and I wonder what type of show this would be. I can hardly wait for all the drama. There is tons of it on Jersey Shore and I am a dedicated fan so I never miss anything. Especially now that I have DISH’s TV everywhere technology. I can stream any show I usually watch at home, right to my iPhone. So I can be at school or working late at DISH and easily stream it while I am on break. So it’s perfect for me.
At least Snooki and JWoww finally have a place to film! From the pictures that I seen of the converted firehouse they’ll be living in are pretty cool. I really love watching Jersey Shore and I can only imagine what their spin-off will be about. Hopefully they are still with their men when they start filming. I’m such a huge fan I can watch this show anywhere I go, whether I am working at DISH or at night-school. All thanks to DISH’s TV everywhere technology. I can stream this show right to my iPhone on breaks. It’s a neat way to stay connected. I wonder what is going to happen on Jersey Shore this Thursday.
