JON HAMM told Hollywood news that his “stupidity” slam about KIM KARDASHIAN was “not personal” after all.
As we’ve previously reported, Jon Hamm recently complained in an interview with Elle UK about how “stupidity is certainly celebrated” in society and subsequently describing Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian as “f**king idiots.” Hilton has yet to reply, but Kardashian responded via her Twitter by calling the “Mad Men” star “careless” for calling someone who “runs their own businesses, is a part of a successful TV show, produces, writes, designs, and creates” stupid.
Hamm says:
“It’s surprising to me that it has become remotely a story. I don’t know Ms. Kardashian, I know her public persona.”
He continued:
“What I said was meant to be more on pervasiveness of something in our culture, not personal, but she took offense to it and that is her right.”
