RIHANNA has joined the bandwagon and helps expose the Ugandan warlord, KONY, star news has learned.
Rihanna has reached out to Invisible Children, the organization that created the viral video posted on YouTube that wished to raise awareness about the Ugandan guerilla warlord, Joseph Kony. The “We Found Love” singer has decided to take a break from being a war freak herself and is set to make a video with IC that will help continue to expose and “Make Kony Famous.”
Honestly, while it’s considered a selfless act to be involved, what would her fans say if she didn’t? After all, the video specifically targeted Rihanna and 19 other “culture-makers” including Oprah, Angelina Jolie, Tim Tebow, Ellen Degeneres, Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber.
The singer tweeted on Tuesday:
“#KONY2012 Spread the word!!!”
Following it up was a tweet she posted Wednesday:
“PLEASE go to Invisiblechildren.com Even if its 10 minutes … Trust me, you NEED to know about this! #1LOVE.”
