SIMON COWELL’s home was recently broken into by an overzealous fan, according to the latest star news.
And it was a woman!
And no, it wasn’t any of the women (Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger) whom he fired from “X Factor” in January… nor was it his ex-fiancée Mezhgan Hussainy, whom he dumped earlier this year after being engaged to her for two whole years.
According to reports, the culprit’s name is Leanne Zaloumis, and she broke into Cowell’s multimillion dollar home in London last night at about 10 p.m. She even came face-to-face with the former “American Idol” judge, who was watching TV at the time.
Simon had his security team detain the woman until the police arrived about half an hour later.
The London police arrested the intruder and charged her with suspicion of aggravated burglary… although it is unclear if Zaloumis actually got to steal anything—or if she even planned to.
Maybe she was an aspiring singer who didn’t want to go through all the trouble of auditioning for “X Factor”?
