ROSIE O’DONNELL thinks LINDSAY LOHAN should not be playing the role of ELIZABETH TAYLOR in her upcoming biopic… even though Lindsay had already been chosen to portray the Hollywood icon.
After obsessing over the coveted role of the late actress, Lindsay Lohan finally got her dream role as Elizabeth Taylor in the upcoming biopic “Liz and Dick“—but Rosie O’Donnell definitely thinks that she can’t do her character justice. In fact, she shouldn’t be doing it at all!
When asked by hosts Matt Lauer and Donny Deutsch on “Today” show about what she thought of Lindsay officially bagging the role of Liz Taylor, Rosie replied:
“I feel very sorry for her … I think she needs a lot of time away … She’s had a lot of trouble doing every single movie, including SNL. She was out and not in rehearsal. I think she’s not in a place to work.”
Deutsch suggests that Lindsay is “our generation’s Elizabeth Taylor” when Rosie exclaimed:
“You’re out of your mind! You’re a crackhead! The last thing she did good she was sixteen.”
She continued:
“I don’t think she’s right for the role and I don’t think she’s capable at this point to portray that character.”
Rosie may be right about Lindsay being troubled in many ways, but considering how hard she worked for the role, she may just be planning on making it her biggest comeback to prove that she can be trusted after all.
