BLAKE LIVELY can’t wait for “Gossip Girl” to end.
And we don’t blame her.
“Gossip Girl” started out as a great show, but after a bunch of messy love triangles and crazy plot twists, the whole thing’s pretty much gone down the tubes.
Which is why it wasn’t that much of a surprise when entertainment news revealed that the show’s upcoming season would be its last.
Blake Lively, for one, is pretty excited to leave Serena van der Woodsen behind. The “Gossip Girl” star recently told BULLETT magazine:
“It’ll be bittersweet when it’s over… I think the best way to describe it is like someone who really enjoyed high school, and is like, I’m a senior and I can’t wait for the next thing!”
The blonde beauty continued:
“Six years is a long time. And as an actor who plays a caricature of myself on the show, I don’t think I’d say, watch Gossip Girl for my best quality of work.”
But before you start thinking that Blake is being ungrateful to the show that launched her to superstardom, don’t worry. The actress graciously added:
“I am very lucky to have had that experience.”
