DAKOTA FANNING wire a Louis Vuitton princess gown at the 2012 Met Gala earlier this week.
Hit or miss?
Like Leighton Meester, who opted for a gold Marchesa gown, Dakota was one of the few celebrities who decided to dress up in an elegant big gown for the Vogue-hosted Metropolitan Museum of Art Gala earlier this week.
The child actress walked the New York red carpet in a tulle and organza gown with a mild v-neck and embroidered with floral ribbons. She paired it with satin sandals and a silk lavender minaudière.
Center-parted hair with side clips, silver jewelry, minimal makeup and nude lips completed her look.
While we love her youthful dress, the short bust area and lengthened waist didn’t make her torso look proportionate. Adding to it the boxy look of the bodice, the dress failed to show Dakota‘s slim figure.
Maybe when she’s a little taller, she can try giving the dress a little more justice. Better yet, she could’ve chosen a smaller dress size with a flattering bodice.
What do you think?
