According to the latest Hollywood gossip, Queen of Funk CHAKA KHAN wants to be a judge on “X Factor.”
Uh… Seriously?
Simon Cowell has been betting millions to get Pop Queen Britney Spears (no need to question why) and is also considering Disney child stars Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus to bring a fresher and younger vibe to the show to replace judge cast offs Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul on “X Factor.”
Now if the 59-year-old “Through The Fire” singer was hired to fill one of the judges’ seats, it kind of beats the purpose, don’t you think?
TMZ reports:
“We’re told Chaka — who has 10 Grammy awards — is dying to be considered for the lucrative gig and instructed her people to reach out to producers of the show, claiming to be perfect for the part … toting her 40 plus years of experience in the biz.”
