DAVID BECKHAM is shirtless and soaking wet in a hot new photo shoot for British ELLE magazine.
Get ready to drool, ladies…
The gorgeous footballer shows off his sexy chiseled bod on the cover of ELLE UK’s July 2012 issue as the first ever solo male cover model.
As to why he was chosen, ELLE’s editor-in-chief Lorraine Candy explains:
“David Beckham is a national hero… He is an icon and Elle is known for featuring icons on its cover. This is a first for us on the newsstand and I believe he is loved by men and women alike.”
She adds:
“Anyway, who doesn’t want to see a picture of one of the world’s most handsome men on the front cover of a magazine? It will be a collector’s issue.”
No doubt about that!
But despite the fact that he has the face of an angel and the body of a god, Beckham admits that he’s actually pretty shy. He tells ELLE UK:
“How would I sum myself up? I don’t know, I prefer other people to do that. Erm…a little bit shy. I don’t know what to say. I hate describing myself.”
