Facebook founder MARK ZUCKERBERG has wed his longtime girlfriend PRISCILLA CHAN, celebrity news has just learned.
Congrats, Zuck!
After being engaged for almost a year, the couple finally tied the knot on Saturday in a small, intimate ceremony at the notoriously modest billionaire’s backyard in his Palo Alto home.
The couple’s wedding guests, who were no more than a hundred, believed the gathering to be a surprise party for Priscilla, who recently graduated from UCSF medical school.
Instead, they were treated to a surprise wedding.
PEOPLE reports:
“Guests dined family-style on food from the couple’s favorite restaurants, Palo Alto Sol and Fuki Sushi. For dessert, they had Burdick Chocolate “mice” – whimsical chocolate treats made in the shape of mice – which the couple had on their first date.”
Zuckerberg, who has been dating Chan for almost a decade ever since they met at Harvard, immediately changed his Facebook status to “Married.”
