According to the latest Hollywood news, FLOYD MAYWEATHER is JUSTIN BIEBER‘s new mentor.
Seriously?
Apparently, Justin‘s surprise appearance in the ring with Mayweather after his fight with Miguel Cotto in Vegas last night was already months in the making. The two have formed quite a bond since 4 months ago after Floyd saw Justin‘s movie “Never Say Never” and decided to approach him because he wanted to influence and mentor the pop star.
And how exactly would the arrogant boxer want young Biebs to follow his footsteps?
TMZ explained:
“Our sources say Mayweather tried to impart his work ethic on Justin, basically telling him he could develop the same level of ‘greatness’ Floyd achieved … if he worked as hard as Floyd did.”
Now Justin is now one of the rare few who actually believes in the foul-talking boxer’s guts. As the site reports:
“We’re told the two hit it off and Justin tells people he thinks Floyd is just misunderstood … and that he is a really a ‘hard-working and clean-cut guy.’”
Oh, how we’d love to know more about his “work ethics.” Plus, Justin already has Usher as his mentor… What does he need Mayweather for, especially since they don’t work in the same field?
Only time will tell what the effects of this unlikely team up will be.
