Oh no!

Kelly has been having a great time with her new boyfriend and talent manager Brandon Blackstock, but it seems that it’s affecting her ability to write more serious lyrics.

The “American Idol” winner, who has released strong break up songs like “Because of You,” “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)” and “Since U Been Gone,” revealed to People:

“It’s killing me. I’m trying to write a tough song and it is coming out like butterflies and rainbows.”

She joked:

“It’s ruining my creativity. I’m writing all this happy [stuff] … People are going to be, like, ‘What the hell happened to you.’”

But Kelly is not stressing much over it, as she added:

“It has been really difficult. I love it. It’s an awesome problem to have.”

It’s okay to write exactly how you feel, Kelly! As long as it came from you, your fans are still going to love the new material!

Plus, wouldn’t it be nice to hear happier songs from Kelly?
