Hollywood celebrity gossip has learned that LADY GAGA has been banned in Indonesia… forcing her to cancel her sold-out concert on June 3.
Not only did Lady Gaga lose her man, but she also got barred from performing in Indonesia—the second country that has made it clear that they’re not exactly fans of the singer’s wild, wild ways. Just two months after South Korea banned all underage citizens from Gaga’s concert on April 27, Indonesia decided to go the same route… but worse.
And it’s all because of Gaga‘s infamously raunchy antics.
Gaga was set to perform her tour’s biggest show yet—a sold-out show at a 52,000-seat venue in Jakarta—next month, but due to fierce opposition from Indonesia’s religious groups and political leaders, she was forced to cancel the whole thing.
Apparently, the country’s conservative Muslim groups believe that Gaga’s raunchy outfits and dance moves are extremely “vulgar,” and they believe it would be ”dangerous” to expose their citizens—especially the younger crowd, Mother Monster’s usual demographic—to such things.
One group stated their reason for wanting to keep Gaga away from their country:
“She stated she is the envoy of the devil’s child and that she will spread satanic teaching.”
Satanic teaching? Wow.
