The latest Hollywood gossip tells us that MARY-KATE OLSEN has been dating 42-year-old French man, OLIVIER SARKOZY for about a month now.
What’s with the hots for older men, MK?
Twenty-five year old Mary-Kate is done with guys her age and it’s obviously attributed to her maturity that enabled her to get into the business world of fashion and bag so much money at such an early age.
From dating Greek shipping heir Stavros Niarchos III who is 2 years older than her, she had moved to New York artist Nate Lowman who is 8 years her senior. And now, French president Nicolas Sarkozy‘s younger half-bro, Olivier, who is (gasp!) 17 years older than the child star.
Page Six reported of the Olsen twin:
“Sources say the former French president’s 42-year-old younger half-brother, who’s managing director of the Carlyle Group, has been seeing 25-year-old Olsen for about a month, and they’re “head over heels” for one another.”
The report added:
“The couple was spotted in the Hamptons over Memorial Day weekend.”
Another insider explained her choice to date a much older man to Us Weekly:
“MK is constantly complaining about boys not being mature enough for her. She got the kids out of her system. Now being a businesswoman dominates her time, and she is rarely impressed with guys.”
And by impressed, she probably meant intimidated by a bigger net worth and professions—Member of the Board of Directors of BankUnited and Managing Director and head of Carlyle Group’s Global Financial Services, anyone?
However, we think she should have some faith in younger men and keep looking for someone much closer to her age. Just think of a 50-year-old highly fashionable MK standing next to her 67-year-old partner for one of their kids’ weddings photos…
