In recent star news, PINK and JOE JONAS both took to Twitter to slam CHRIS BROWN for lip-syncing his performance at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday.
Brown has been in a lot of feuds with other celebrities over the years—most recently with country singer Miranda Lambert and WWE wrestler CM Punk—and it looks like he’s in for a couple more.
One day after the singer’s electrifying performance at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards, Joe Jonas wrote on Twitter:
“What happened to people singing live??? …..”
While Pink tweeted:
“one day if i lipsync, i hope i do it as well as him….”
The “Sober” singer’s husband Carey Hart was also quick to comment on Brown’s questionable song-and-dance routine, claiming that it seemed very similar to Pink’s “Raise Your Glass” performance at the 2010 American Music Awards. He tweeted:
“Im pretty sure i saw my wife did that same performance, but she was 3 months pregnant and actually sang the song.”
He added:
“To clarify i was talkin trash bout CB performance, 2 years ago my wife had the same set and actually sang “Raise ur Glass.””
In response to the criticisms, Chris Brown sent out a surprisingly toned-down (not even a single curse word!) and totally uncharacteristic tweet:
“Anyone who is upset obviously is upset with their lives… Make your music…make a difference.. Be better than me! Godbless!”
Wow.
Who knew Chris Brown was capable of taking the high road?
